As always, I appreciate your positive words and encouragement, Gareth. Reading this reminded me of a quote that appears at the end of the beautiful film, “A Hidden Life,” which you’ve probably seen. “…for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts, and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life and rest in unvisited tombs.” (George Eliot)

I agree that no matter how quiet or “unseen” our lives, we can’t know the positive impact we have.

Hey Gareth, this made so much sense me. Not only did it remind me that there is inherent value in the act of creation, but to recognize that value in others is also part of the process. After reading this I felt nourished and seen, and inspired to see the stardust in those around me. Thank you for sharing!
