As a blow-in from the States into Armagh City I can say that I have witnessed a massive change in the landscape of Northern Ireland in the 11 years I've been here--but the pain of the past isn't far away. We've been without a government for the larger part of the last 6 years because of sectarianism. We still have miles to go until we are functional again and it starts with getting back to work in Stormont. We are functionally broken and the two parties that put us here are still holding a place of coercive control over the whole country with their bickering.
